Spa Policies
Reservations
Massage and Spa services are available by appointment on a daily basis. We recommend calling as far in advance as possible to ensure availability. A credit card or gift certificate is required to reserve all spa services. For parties of 4 or more, a 20% managing and gratuity fee will be added to service prices.
Please notify receptionist if you have any gift certificates or coupons when scheduling your appointment. If you were referred to or by a specific therapist, please ask for that therapist when scheduling.
We suggest that new clients arrive 15 minutes prior to appointment in order to complete a short intake form and consult with the therapist regarding your needs and expectations for your spa services.
Established clients are encouraged to arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. Punctuality ensures that your service starts on time and that you get the full benefit of your scheduled time. If you are late for your appointment, your session will still end on time in order to avoid inconvience for the next client.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. In our desire to be effective and fair to all clients, the following policies are honored:
Weekend services and any services requiring special setup such as couple's massage or hot stone will require a credit card number for reservation.
Because your appointment time has been reserved especially for you, please make every effort to keep your appointment and arrive on time. We require the courtesy of a 24 hour advance notice when rescheduling or cancelling an appointment to avoid being charged for the service, as your therapist will have room and supplies ready for your visit. This also allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment.
If you are unable to give us 24 hours advance notice you will be charged 50% of the service fee. Gift Certificates will be reduced to half value. No Shows will be charged the full amount of your appointment. This amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment.
No-shows
Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a “no-show.” They will be charged for their “missed” appointment. No Shows will result in forfeiture of gift certificate if applicable. No exceptions.
Late Arrivals
We regret that late arrivals will not receive an extension of scheduled service time. If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, your therapist will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for payment of the “full” session, as your therapist's time and preparation should be respected. Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other customers, please plan accordingly and be on time.
Gift Certificates
Gift Certificates can be purchased for any of our services or in a specific dollar amount. Gift Certificates are non refundable, non transferrable, not valid with any other discount or offer and not redeemable for cash. Gift Certicates are valid for one year and are not valid after expiration date. Gift Certificates or coupons must be presented at time of appointment.
Cell Phones:
We ask that you respect other guests by turning off your cell phones so everyone can indulge in their relaxing experience.
Hygiene:
In keeping with our committment to hygiene, cleanliness and safety, we sanitize our equipment before and after each service so every client experience is performed in a safe, sanitary environment.
Age Requirements:
Clients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent. Children will not be permitted to wait in the lobby, so please make proper arrangements for childcare during your appointment.
Valuables:
Please leave your valuables at home. We regret that we cannot be repsonsible for personal items.
Payments Accepted:Cash, Check, Visa & Mastercard.
There will be a $50 charge for ALL returned checks.
Gratuities:
Much preparation was put into your appointment time. Please leave a gratuity for a job well done by your therapist. Recommended range is from 15 to 20% of the service amount, however the amount is at your discretion. Gratuities may be paid by cash, credit card or check.
